I suppose incremental increase in screen size is a good thing, even if it seems to be taking an incredibly long time. Sony currently has their 11” OLED screen available, for far more than anyone should pay, and LG has announced that they’re starting production on their 15” OLED models and should have them out by Christmas. Probably for far more than anyone should pay.

The exciting thing is that there will be a 32” screen size available someday. But right now we’re dealing with a two or three inch increase every year. It’s slow, but at least it’s steadily growing. There are some conflicting reports out about what exactly is happening with these screens though.

Some say that LG is producing these 15” screens as part of an Apple notebook in June of next year. We don’t really believe it only because Apple hasn’t jumped on the OLED in MP3 players bandwagon, they’re already upset that Microsoft says their laptops are too expensive, and why on earth would Apple want to cut into their margins?

The other rumors are what we reported in the headline and first paragraph. Hopefully you can tell which rumors we believe.
